Eduardo Elizondo wins November award

November's William W. Asbury award was presented Friday to Eduardo Elizondo (senior-management and international business).

A Schreyer Honors College scholar and Golden Key National Honors Society member, Elizondo is also the overall chair for the University Park Allocation Committee and a member of the HUB-Robeson Advisory Board.

Elizondo was nominated for his community service, educational programming and service to students, according to a HUB-Robeson Center news release.

He received the award Friday from William Asbury, vice president for Student Affairs, during the Noontime Concert Series.

The Asbury leadership award, which started this academic year, is awarded each month to one student nominated by his or her peers.

Winners receive $500 and a plaque.
