Letter to the Editor
Encourage Nader's voters to vote for vice president

I am one who believes in the ideals set forth by the Green Party and Presidential candidate Ralph Nader 100 percent. I want to see America progress into a country that values every human life — at home and abroad. Like half of the nation, I wonder why George W. Bush, a man who is grossly underqualified, is on the brink of becoming our next president of the United States.

I am terrified that a candidate who shows a blatant disregard for details, and who spends only 15 minutes reviewing the status of a man, whose life will be exterminated on his approval, is going to be our next president. It is unfortunate that this man can win over the favor of the American public with a quick flash of his sheepish grin.

I encourage all Americans — women, minorities, and every conscientious student at Penn State to avoid the George W. Bush trap. Are we not still young? We need to move our nation forward, not fall backward. We must learn from the Green Party's ideals, and we must elect Al Gore.
