Centre County PAWS Inc. along with the Penn State Pre-Vet Club will hold a "Pet Extravaganza" from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ag Arena. Admission is free.
The day's events will include a pet walk from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a rabies clinic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a $5 fee, a microchip clinic for pet identification from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for a $20 fee and a police dog demonstration at noon.
Throughout the day, there will also be additional demonstrations, displays and pet activities including silly pet tricks, best-dressed pet contest and pet-owner look-alike contests.
There will also be a silent auction and face painting for children.
Centre County PAWS asks that all pets participating in the day's events be in a carrier or on a leash at all times. All participating pets must have proof of current vaccinations. Any pets receiving rabies vaccinations are not permitted to participate.
