sun Fair weather will preside over Happy Valley through much of this week as high pressure dominates. Highlight

As the Atlantic hurricane season begins to come to a close, eyes are fixed on the West Pacific where Typhoon Xangsane strengthens as it approaches Taiwan. Over the weekend, Xangsane crossed over the Philippines causing widespread power outages and sever flooding in Manila. Atleast 13 people were killed and an estimated 20,000 were forced to evacuate their homes as Xangsane’s 70mph winds battered the region.

Fall Foliage

Fall foliage is past its peak in most of the Commonwealth except for the southeastern and western portions of the state, where colors are now at their peak.
