There are many important reasons for college students to vote in this election. But here is one that should mean a great deal to those students that will graduate in the next four years. Eight years ago, my students graduated from school only to find that getting a job was extremely difficult.
Unemployment was high under the Bush administration and companies had the upper hand, so students often took job like waiting tables in a restaurant while they waited for an interested employer to surface. Eight years later, the situation is reversed. Now employers are desperately looking for qualified employees and they contact me regularly to enlist my help in locating potential candidates.
Stepping back to the days of high unemployment would be devastating to the future college graduates. Moving forward with Gore/Lieberman is the best way to help graduating college students land good positions with reputable companies at a decent salary.
Vote for Gore/Lieberman for a strong future for college grads.
