Today's University Park forecast
rain As a rain storm moves off the Atlantic Coast today, skies will clear west to east across the Commonwealth and cool Canadian air will infiltrate the region. With high pressure in control, sunshine will persist for several days and provide pleasant weather for the Homecoming 2000 weekend. Temperatures will remain seasonal throughout the forecast period.

The thirteenth named tropical storm of the season is churning in the Atlantic Ocean. Michael was just named as a tropical storm early yesterday morning and upgraded to a hurricane last night. This storm is expected to move to the northeast over the next several days, and not pose a threat to land..

Fall foliage is reaching its peak in the northern tier of Pennsylvania, and remains near peak in the western half of the state. Fall foliage is still patchy throughout the Susquehanna Valley and southeastern Pennsylvania.
