While violence in the Middle East reached a fever pitch yesterday, tensions were felt half a world away on Penn State's own campus when what some considered inflammatory fliers concerning Israeli violence toward Palestinian civilians were handed out in the HUB.

Christopher Reeve offered his advice and words of experience to a large crowd of students and community members.

While many students spent fall break staring at the television screen, one student spent the weekend clutching rocks at the New River Gorge in West Virginia with nothing but nature surrounding him.

Remember that Violent Femmes song, the one that goes, "Do you like American music?" Do many people actually know what "American" music is?

At 8 tonight and tomorrow, 111 Forum will resound with laughter as NRT actors address these types of questions in Eugéne Ionesco's play The Bald Soprano.
