This high pressure system will slide to the east allowing the mercury will climb above seasonal levels by mid-week with no precipitation in sight..

Highlight
One of the coldest air masses of the season has settled into the northeast in the form of a Canadian high. Lows bottomed out in the upper teens in northern New England. Although it was a chilly morning for Penn State, readings were slightly warmer than the coldest ever September reading of 28ºF last set in 1947.
