Coyote plot realistic

I overheard two guys talking about Coyote Ugly and all they said was, "There's no one ugly in Coyote Ugly."

This is pretty much indisputable with a cast that includes Tyra Banks, Piper Perabo, Maria Bello and Adam Garcia. But even better than the beautiful actors and bar-top dancing is that the movie actually has a plot.

Truthfully, I was surprised at first to see that the story line was well-written and thought out. In the movie, the main character, Violet, nicknamed after her home state, Jersey, moves to New York, and unlike the city portrayed in Autumn in New York, Coyote Ugly's New York is truly ugly.

Within her first week, Jersey moves into a filthy apartment, gets robbed and has no possessions, no job and no money.

The solution to her money problems is found in a wild, crazy bar called Coyote Ugly. Jersey's only problem with becoming a "Coyote" is that it causes shame to her overly protective and dependent father, played by John Goodman. So although Coyote Ugly did show the ugly part of New York, the story was well written and fun — aspects that the pretty Autumn in New York lacked.
