Police Log

  • Simple Assault: At 9:57 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of W. College Ave., a 22-year-old female Penn State student was struck with the type of ammunition typically used for a BB gun, State College police said. The ammunition lodged under the victim's skin. She was taken to Centre Community Hospital for treatment. The police are unsure of where the shots came from but are continuing to investigate the incident.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
