Starting tonight and extending until next weekend, parts of State College and campus will be closed to host events for the National Governors' Association Annual Meeting and the 34th Annual Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts.

The debut of the new visitor center comes in time for the gathering of the nation's governors for the National Governors' Association this weekend.



SPORTS

Officer Patrick D. Fitzsimmons, whom Hoboken police say Rashard Casey assaulted during the early morning of May 14, filed a lawsuit June 29 in New Jersey State Supreme Court seeking an unspecified amount of money as compensation.

ESPN2 has agreed to carry Penn State's home-opening football matchup against Toledo on Sept. 2.
