The State College Police Department arrested three suspects Tuesday in connection with two home invasion robberies that occurred in the borough, according to a press release from State College police.
Anthony Marchese, 18, of Williamsport, John Vancampen, 19, of Jersey Shore, and Muhammad Cannon, 20, of Williamsport were arrested on charges stemming from both robberies.
The individuals were arraigned before District Justice Carmine Prestia. Marchese and Vancampen were placed in Centre County Prison and Cannon was returned to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $125,000 each for each incident, according to the release.
The first incident occurred on Oct. 29 when the suspects entered a residence on Plaza Drive and robbed the occupant at knifepoint, restraining him with packing tape. The actors took a large amount of money and illegal drugs from the victim's roommate, according to the release.
The second incident occurred at Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, 351 E. Fairmount Ave., when several suspects entered a fraternity member's room and robbed him at gunpoint of a small amount of money, according to the release.
