Officials forecast low voter turnout
The Pennsylvania primary has finally arrived, far behind the decisive Super Tuesday elections March 7. However, today's primary still casts votes in national nominations and decides several significant state nominations.

Wright named Big Ten Player of the Week
The Big Ten named Penn State first baseman Chris Wright its Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday. Wright, a sophomore, had an outstanding week at the plate, garnering 12 RBIs on six hits, including two doubles. He scored five runs as well.

The Penn State Women's Track team opened its spring season at the Adidas Relay Open meet at North Carolina State.
