Baseball season opens at home for Lions
Hopefully for the Penn State baseball team, it left those red wristbands it was wearing to protest the Confederate flag back in South Carolina last weekend. Otherwise, if the Nittany Lions decide to wear them again this weekend in their Big Ten home-opening series at Beaver Field, the fans might get the wrong idea.

Philly just two games away for lady lions
The right to play on Monday night will be on the line at 10:30 tomorrow night, when No. 2-seed Penn State (26-4) takes on No.3-seed Iowa State (27-5) in the Midwest Regional semifinals in Kansas City, Mo.

Younger Crispin perfects long-range connection
If you're a Penn State fan, then thank God Jon Crispin doesn't play for Kent. At least, that's the way Golden Flashes coach Gary Waters put it at his press conference following Penn State's 81-74 National Invitation Tournament win against Waters' squad Wednesday night.
