Traffic patterns to change for fireworks show The State College Police Department announced several traffic pattern changes for the area following the fireworks festival this Sunday near Beaver Stadium. Students launch own rockets SPIRIT, the Student Projects Involving Rocket Investigation Techniques, is participating in the NYPOWER '99 rocket launch. This event involves a total of 1,200 rockets to be launched during a three-day period tomorrow through Monday, weather permitting, at Geneseo Airport in Geneseo, N.Y. Bookstores change to meet new needs The Encore Books in State College is closing down and liquidating its books during the next eight to nine weeks. Some of Encore's employees said they want to start a new, but different, bookstore.
