Police Log

  • Criminal Mischief: The Centre County Communications Center reported Tuesday evening a parked car's windshield was broken at Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel. Further investigation revealed two children at Daybridge Child Development Center at Penn State were responsible for the damage by throwing rocks at the vehicle, Penn State Police Services said.

    The estimated damage is $500.

  • Theft: A secretary at Dr. Robert Carney's dentist office on East College Avenue reported Tuesday morning a UPS delivery was stolen from the office. The delivery contained two sets of teeth impressions, some patient records and a gold crown, the State College Police department said.

    The contents are valued at $925.

  • Theft: A student reported Tuesday afternoon the theft of shoes and clothing from his room in Pinchot Hall sometime between March 24 and 28, Penn State police said.

    The estimated value of the theft is $510.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
