Board of Opinion endorses two qualified USG tickets

The Daily Collegian Board of Opinion came to the decision to endorse two Undergraduate Student Government presidential and vice presidential candidates after hours of debate that resulted in a deadlock.

Upon the realization that the board was not going to reach a consensus, it decided the only fair option for readers was to write two endorsements. That way, readers are able to see not only that two tickets are qualified for the position, but that they have characteristics that distinguish them from other candidates.

The Board of Opinion has narrowed your USG presidential and vice presidential choices from six to two. It has laid out the positive points of both tickets. It is up to voters to decide which ticket's characteristics, platforms and experiences are more valuable.
