Jesse Jackson, who has not visited Penn State since his 1984 presidential campaign, is returning to speak at 7 p.m. today in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Judge dismisses several charges in shooting trial
Blair County Judge Jolene Kopriva dismissed several claims last week filed by the parents of Melanie Spalla, the Penn State student fatally shot in 1996 on the HUB lawn by Jillian Robbins, based on precedent.

    A 23-year-old man was charged yesterday with robbery of a vehicle, aggravated assault and driving under the influence, the State College Police Department said.
