Musser, 5 visitors cited for criminal mischief

Six individuals were charged with summary offenses of criminal mischief after stealing five NCAA Wrestling Championships banners.

The thefts occurred from Beaver Avenue and Allen Street Saturday night, according to the State College Police Department.

One Penn State student and five visitors were immediately tried and fined $225 after they pleaded guilty.

Clint Musser (senior-telecommunications), who lost in the wrestling finals Saturday, was one of those charged.

Some of the suspects were caught at a residence on the 200 block of South Gill Street, State College police said

The banner was later recovered by police.
