'Daffodil Days' ends tomorrow
Until tomorrow, the American Cancer Society will be selling flowers to the public at numerous locations in Centre County.
The sale is part of the agency's "Daffodil Days," a campaign to raise funds for programs that provide wigs, transportation, support groups, counseling and literature to cancer patients, said Allison Stoner of the American Cancer Society.
The society will sell the flowers at various locations in Centre County, including the Wal-Mart stores at 373 Benner Pike and 1665 N. Atherton St., the Nittany Mall, The Corner Room, 100 W. College Ave., and the Student Book Store, 330 E. College Ave., according to a press release from the society.
The daffodils cost $6 for a bunch of 10 or 75 cents each, Stoner said.
