MIDDLETOWN — Students who choose to live and eat on campus will pay more for room and board at Penn State next year.
The Board of Trustees approved the 1999-2000 Office of Housing and Food Services Operations budget yesterday, which calls for increased rates for all services.
A student who lives in a standard double room with the average meal plan will pay 4 percent more, according to the report.
Housing and Food Services are self-supporting and the increases are to account for inflation in the cost of food, labor and expenses.
