• Theft: A Penn State staff member reported yesterday a laptop computer was stolen sometime between Jan. 4 and Jan. 18 from Chambers Building, Penn State Police Services said.
  

  The estimated value of the computer is $2,000.
  

• Theft: Fleming resident Judy Hockenberry reported yesterday someone stole her 1990 black Nissan truck around 4 p.m. Wednesday from the Days Inn Penn State, 240 S. Pugh St., the State College Police Department said.
  

  Penn State police found the vehicle at around 10 p.m. Wednesday in a parking lot on campus and are continuing an investigation, according to the State College police.
