In moving the 1999 Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon to Rec Hall, organizers hope to pull off the same sort of trick Funding the fight against cancer It's 7 p.m. Sunday, and the total amount of money raised through the 1999 Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon has just been announced. And every penny of the total will go directly to the Four Diamonds Fund of the Hershey Medical Center to aid families of children battling cancer.
Measure for measure With a total of 630 dancers, almost 10 times as many participants as in 1973, the 1999 Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is the largest to date. Imitation ... the sincerest form of flattery But today, schools from California to Florida hold their own variation of Penn State's Thon. Athletes test their stamina at Thon Carrie Schonveld is already familiar with Rec Hall. For her, it has almost been like a second home, a place where she has spent countless hours.
