Today's
University Park forecast
Maybe
Punxsutawney Phil is going to eat his words... Although
spring-like weather is expected once again today, a
disturbance will bring showers and cooler temperatures
during the day on Wednesday. After a pleasant Thursday,
our first real winter storm could take aim at the region
by Friday, bringing the threat of snow and gusty winds.

Highlight
A major winter storm may develop by the end of the
week. Called a "Nor'Easter", this type of storm
can bring heavy snows to the Appalachian Mountains and
gusty winds to the coast. It is still too early for
details, however, as the snowstorm's development is not a
certainty...yet.
