Today's University Park forecast
sun A powerful cold front will push across the state this afternoon bringing an end to the record warmth found across western Pennsylvania yesterday. Mild temperatures this morning will turn sharply colder this afternoon as gusty winds shift into the northwest. A period of sleet and freezing rain is possible early this evening before a complete changeover to light snow late. Little accumulation is expected.
