Today's
University Park forecast
The
mild weather the past couple of weeks will continue. A
departing storm will leave clouds in its wake over most
of the state today. However, after a cool night tonight,
drier, warmer weather will begin to move back into the
region on Tuesday. Temperatures will be well above normal
with no chance of cold, artic air until a new storm
system arrives later in the week. --Prepared by
the Campus Weather

Weather
Highlight
The storm system that brough a mixed bag of
precipitation to Pennsylvania yesterday was also
responsible for some severe weather across the southern
plains on Saturday. Hail producing thunderstorms with
winds exceeding 70 mph toppled trees and powerlines
across Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas. In addition,
most places received around 2 inches of rain with this
system, while some locations like Cabool, MO recorded
5.80 inches in just 24 hours.
