Today's
University Park forecast
Although no snow is in the forecast, there is the chance
of some mixed precipitation on Saturday. An arctric air
mass will briefly spill into the region tomorrow bringing
sunshine and colder temperatures. Enough cold air may be
in place when a storm system arrives on Saturday such
that the precipitation starts as a period of freezing
rain before changing over to all rain.--Prepared by
the Campus Weather

Weather
Highlight
Think it was chilly this morning? Imagine waking up to
-50ºF! Such was the case in Fairbanks, Alaska this
morning and highs will struggle to reach -35ºF today.
The bitterly cold air is expected to hold its ground for
at least the next week. Meanwhile, the fast-moving
weather pattern that is currently in place has kept
temperatures above normal across most of the lower 48
states.
