• Theft: An East Halls staff member reported Thursday morning the theft of a couch and chair from the first floor lounge of Findlay Commons, Penn State Police Services said. The furniture was stolen sometime last weekend.
  

  The loss is valued at $600.
  

• Theft: A Penn State student reported Thursday afternoon the theft of her laptop computer that day from her dorm in Leete Hall, Penn State police said.
  

  The loss is valued at $1,200.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.
