Preliminary Hearings

BELLEFONTE -- State College resident Carlos Sanchez, 40, was bound over for trial Wednesday on charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault and unlawful restraint.

Sanchez allegedly waited for a woman at her home. When she returned, the two argued and the woman said she was going to take a bath and leave, according to court documents.

When the woman bathed, she said Sanchez entered the bathroom, undressed and got into the tub with her.

Sanchez allegedly pulled the woman on top of him and began having vaginal intercourse with her without consent.

The two then got out of the bathtub, at which point Sanchez allegedly took the victim into the bedroom, forced her face down on the bed and began having anal intercourse with her.

At that point, the victim protested verbally and physically. Sanchez then held her arms behind her back, covered her mouth with his hand and continued to have anal intercourse with her. Sanchez then allegedly rolled the victim onto her back and again had vaginal intercourse with her. She then left the apartment.
