Today's
University Park forecast
The high
pressure system bringing us our sunny skies today will
move out of the region. In its place a low pressure
system in the mid-west will begin to move northeastward
bringing us clouds and light rain through the middle of
the week. As it trecks to our north through Thursday, we
will see some unusually high temperatures followed by a
returning blast of cold air for the weekend.--Prepared by the Campus Weather Service

Weather
Highlight
Although we may be warm for January, it is nothing
compared to the southern parts of the country. Joplin,
Missouri has a record high temperature of 68 degrees
yesterday. This broke the old record set back in 1952 of
a toasty 67 degrees. This warmth is due to a ridge
building in the southern U.S.
