Police Log

  • Harrassment -- Timothy M. Lightner, 29, of Duncansville was charged with 29 counts of harassment by communications on Jan. 25, according to Penn State Police Services. The charges stemmed from a series of harassing phone calls made to an office in the HUB. The calls, which were sexual in nature, were traced to Lightner's residence.

  • Theft -- A yellow 4-foot gumball machine with a spiral delivery chute was reported stolen between Jan. 14 and Jan. 21 from a business on the 400 block of College Avenue.

    The business reported a recently hired employee had taken the machine, the State College Police Department said. The estimated value is $500.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
