Today's
University Park forecast
A
strengthening low pressure system over the central Plains
will continue to draw warm, moist air from the Gulf of
Mexico into our area. Tonight, strong southerly winds
will develop over the region and erode the cold air
currently in place. Heavier showers and possibly a rumble
of thunder will accompany the milder air on Saturday,
before winter returns for the start of next week. --Prepared by the Campus Weather Service

Weather
Highlight

snow to combine with the recent rainfall and create
statewide flooding. Between Saturday and Sunday, amounts
of 1.95 and 1.32 inches of rain were reported in Franklin
and Sullivan Counties. Official Flood and Flash Flood
warnings were reported by the National Weather Service
throughout the weekend.
