Low pressure over the Southern Plains will usher in Gulf of Mexico moisture causing rain to develop later today. Weather Highlight
A vigorous jet stream disturbance will interact with unseasonably warm air over the lower Ohio and Mississippi Valleys tonight and Friday, resulting in severe thunderstorms. Damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes are likely. Heavy rainfall will also produce localized flooding.
