Rescheduling classes decided by instructors

It's been so long since Penn State had a snow day that hardly anybody is sure how to accommodate the lost class time.

There are no makeup days built into the academic calendar, said Vicki Fong of the Department of Public Information.

Instead, makeup procedures are left to the discretion of class instructors.

Snow and ice led Penn State to cancel classes at the University Park campus on Thursday and Friday, making the first week of the Spring Semester even easier than expected.
