sun A wintry mix is headed towards the region over the next few days. A cold front over Southern Canada will move southward today bringing snow and sleet. A developing low pressure in the Tennessee Valley could bring us another round of frozen precipitation tonight through Friday. The weekend looks milder, with the return of sunshine.

Weather Highlight


Cold air flowing over the relatively warmer Great Lakes has made lake effect snowstorms a theme this winter. In Buffalo alone, 45.5 inches of snow have fallen in January prompting a State of Emergency in the city. The National Guard has been called into the city to help remove the snow.
