Today's University Park forecast
snow As a weak storm system known as an Alberta Clipper skirts to our north today, clouds will be on the increase throughout the afternoon hours. Temperatures will hover in the upper teens tonight as light snow begins to break out by morning. On Tuesday, expect periods of light snow to continue as the low pressure moves into southern Canada dragging a cold front through Pennsylvania.

Weather Highlight


Not only has it been snowy and icy in State College over the last week, but it has also been very cold. The week of January 1 to January 8 was the tenth coldest week in State College since records began in 1896. This is in stark contrast to the first week of December when Penn State experienced 70 degree weather.
