Spikers play second Blue-White scrimmage

The Penn State men's volleyball team had its second Blue-White game Friday at Rec Hall. Blue won the best of five matches in four games (15-13, 15-11, 12-15, 15-11).

The Blue team was lead by Tim Hoffman and Eric Houston, who combined for 25 kills and four blocks.

Brad Miller and Dan Hoechst led the White team with 27 kills and five blocks.

Head coach Mark Pavlik is pleased with the team's overall performance and likes how the team is reacting to certain situations on the floor.

"We are all coming along," said sophomore Steve Aird.

The Lions host a preseason invitational tournament Saturday at Rec Hall.

East Stroudsburg, Juniata, Mercy Hearst and Saint Francis are scheduled to compete.
