Spikers Blue-White Game set for today
The men's volleyball team will have its first of three blue-white games today at 3pm in Rec Hall. The team is coming off a solid performance in Edmonton going 3-1 with the help of Tony Mazzullo and Eric Houston. Mazzullo lead the team with 31 digs and 12 kills, while Houston was named Penn State Player of the Game finishing with 12 digs and 3 kills. "The was a lot of effort in every match last weekend," head coach Mark Pavlik said. "The team played really hard." Pavlik has tried to put a lot of different players together to allow the team to work better together. "By putting these guys in different situations they get a better feel for one another," Palivk said. The players spent some of the summer together competing in tournaments and camps. The season officially opens January 8th at home for the Nittany Lion Invitational. -- by Josh Daeche
