Employee of Beekman’s
says deli’s days finished

The local bagel market may have a new hole. Beekman's Bagel Deli, 310 E. College Ave., will close tomorrow, an employee of the restaurant told The Daily Collegian.

Clinics forced to charge for HIV tests
It's now going to cost students and residents to know their HIV status. HIV testing fees will begin tomorrow at The AIDS Project, 315 S. Allen St., said Brent Frank, office manager and testing administrator for The AIDS Project.

Local blood drive begins Thursday in effort to boost dangerously low supply
A blood emergency may be declared soon for the Johnstown Region of the American Red Cross Blood Services. To combat this crisis, the Centre Communities Chapter of the American Red Cross is hoping 400 donors will give the gift of life beginning Thursday at the University.

RAW returns to center
It's part circus, part sport, part soap opera and all spectacle. And at 7:30 p.m. tonight it's coming to The Bryce Jordan Center. The World Wrestling Federation's Raw is War, the federation's showcase television program, will return to Penn State after January's hugely successful event at the center.
