Home improvement: Campus gets makeover courtesy of $475 million construction plan
University Park is getting a facelift this summer.
The Office of Physical Plant is managing 125 construction projects across campus as part of a $475 million five-year construction plan announced last year.

Fire at Pugh Street house A fire began early Friday morning at 312 S. Pugh St., the State College Police Department said. The house was scheduled for demolition, so no one was inside when the fire broke out. The cause of the fire is "suspicious," State College Police said.
Family's $1.25 million gift to aid colleges, athletics
The Nagle family donated $1.25 million to the University to benefit the College of Arts and Architecture, intercollegiate athletics and the College of the Liberal Arts, according to a University news release.
