  • Criminal Mischief: A University employee reported that someone scratched the walls of an elevator in Shunk Hall between Saturday afternoon and yesterday morning, University Police Services said. The estimated value of the damage is $250.

  • Criminal Mischief: An employee of the Nittany Lion Inn, 200 W. Park Ave., reported Saturday that two men tried to remove property from the inn, University police said. Raymond H. Post of East Stroudsburg and Mark A. Lavine of Saylorsburg, neither of whom are affiliated with the University, were each issued citations, University police said.

  • Criminal Mischief: A 30-gallon trash bag covered with citronella was dragged early Friday morning into a courtyard on the 600 block of Prospect Avenue, the State College Police Department said. Alpha Fire Co. responded to the scene. A follow-up is pending.

  • Simple Assault: Two men from Beta Theta Pi fraternity, 220 N. Burrowes Road, were reported fighting early yesterday morning, State College police said. One man went to Centre Community Hospital and was released. A follow-up is continuing.

  • Theft: An RCA 8mm camcorder was stolen Thursday from a vehicle owned by Ralph Stoehr that was parked on the 900 block of Hemlock Street, State College police said. The camcorder is valued at $600.

  • Theft: A stereo and compact discs were reported stolen from Jeffrey Heim's car, which was parked on the 1000 block of Cortland Drive, State College police said. The items were stolen Thursday night or Friday morning, State College police said. The estimated value of the items is $490.

  • Theft: An attempted theft of a computer from Wal-Mart, 373 Benner Pike, was reported Thursday, State College police said. The computer's monitor has been recovered, but the hard drive and keyboard are still missing, State College police said.
