Yanni to play at BJC
It's a new age for The Bryce Jordan Center.
Composer Yanni will perform at 8 p.m. May 26 at the center. Tickets
will cost $53 and $37 and go on sale at 8 a.m. Monday at the center's
box office, as well as the Eisenhower Auditorium South Box Office,
select Uni-Mart locations, select Commonwealth Campus locations
and via phone at 865-5555 and (800) 863-3336.
Fans who wish to obtain wristbands before the tickets go on sale
can do so from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at the center.
The new-age composer and instrumentalist -- who will be bringing
to the stage his band and symphony -- is touring in support of
his latest album, last year's Tribute.
He achieved worldwide fame with his best-selling 1994 video and
album Yanni Live at the Acropolis.
