"I'd just like to start out by saying the real winners tonight are the students of Penn State because they just got two leaders who are willing to work their asses off," Casagrande said to the crowd in the HUB Ballroom.

The announcement was made about 12:30 a.m. today to a crowded HUB Ballroom. Campaign workers huddled together with their candidates anticipating the results.

Matt Lohr and B.J. Werzyn, write-in candidates, got 26 votes.
