Simple Assault: A woman received facial injuries during a fight
early yesterday morning at a bar on the 100 block of West College
Avenue, the State College Police Department said. The woman was
treated and released from the hospital, State College police said.
An investigation is continuing.
- Theft: A University employee reported Tuesday morning the theft
of two video cassette recorders between March 17 and 18 from a
storage room in Sparks Building, University Police Services said.
The items are worth $454.
- Theft: A University student reported yesterday that his bicycle
was stolen between Thursday and yesterday from the bicycle lockers
outside of Pinchot Hall, University police said. The bicycle is
worth $400.
- Theft: A student reported yesterday the theft of a cellular phone
March 17 from Pollock Library, University police said. The value
of the phone is unknown.
- Theft: While investigating a fire alarm, a State College police
officer discovered early yesterday morning that a dairy calf owned
by the University was on the second floor of a building on the
200 block of East Beaver Avenue, University police said. The calf
had been removed from the Penn State Dairy Center, North University
Drive Extension sometime between Tuesday and yesterday. The calf
was retrieved unharmed by Dairy Center staff, University police
said.
