Simple Assault/Harassment: A University student reported Sunday
he was assaulted by an unknown man near the Penn State Bookstore
early that day, University police said. The victim refused treatment
for his injuries and was transported to his residence, University
police said.

Theft: University student Brian Hostetler reported Sunday 105
compact discs in a case were stolen from his residence on the
400 block of East Fairmount Avenue, between late Friday night
and Saturday morning, the State College Police Department said.
The estimated value of the CDs is $1,525.
- Theft: A University student reported Sunday his bicycle was stolen
from the east side of Holmes Hall between Sunday afternoon and
yesterday afternoon, University police said. The estimated value
of the bicycle is $600.
- Theft: An employee of The Bon-Ton Department Store in the Nittany
Mall reported Sunday that store employees attempted to stop two
female juveniles from stealing clothes from the store that day,
State College police said. Both girls escaped. Merchandise, worth
$190, was recovered from one girl before she escaped, State College
police said. There is no estimated value for the clothing that
was not recovered, State College police said.
- Theft: Mona Hill of Boalsburg reported Sunday a stack of maple
and walnut logs were stolen from outside her residence at on the
400 block of Loop Road between Thursday and Friday, State College
police said. The estimated value of the wood is $300.
