- Criminal Mischief: A University police officer reported Monday
that he identified a University student who set 15 to 20 fires
in rest rooms in Irvin Hall between Jan. 1 and 16, University
Police Services said.
No significant damage resulted from the fires.
- Theft/Shoplifting: Jeffrey W. Hughes, 34, was arrested Monday
for shoplifting 54 various cigarette cartons from Bi Lo Food Market
in the Hills Plaza, the State College Police Department said.
Hughes was arraigned before District Justice Bradley Lunsford
and taken to Centre County Prison, State College police said.
The value of the cigarette cartons is $920.
- Theft: A University student reported Monday the theft of two sweatshirts
from his room in Geary Hall between March 5 and 22, University
police said.
The estimated value of the sweatshirts is $100.

Building.
