- Criminal Mischief: A University student employee reported Saturday
that someone painted the Nittany Lion Shrine during the night,
University Police Services said.
- Indecent Exposure: A female University student reported a man
exposed himself to her at 10:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection
of Old Boalsburg Road and East McCormick Avenue, State College
police said.
A man ran in front of the woman and turned around to expose himself,
State College police said. He then fled the scene, State College
police said.
The man was described as white and in his 20s, about 5 feet 10
inches tall and 170 pounds, State College police said. He was
wearing a gray, hooded, pull-over sweatshirt, State College police
said.
- Missing Person: Fifteen-year-old Matthew R. Koch of the 800
block of South Allen Street was reported missing Saturday, State
College police said.
Koch's father said Matthew was last seen at 5 p.m. Friday and
was wearing a gray fleece with a hood, blue jeans, brown high-top
boots and carrying a dark green bookbag, State College police
said. Matthew Koch is described as 5 feet 7, 150 pounds with short
dark brown hair and blue eyes, State College police said.
- Rules & Regulations: A University staff member reported
Thursday that three individuals were around a small fire on the
sidewalk near Eisenhower Chapel, University police said. It was
determined that the three people were University students and
that they started the fire for a film class, University police
said.
The three students will be referred to the Office of Judicial
Affairs, University police said.
- Sexual Assault: A woman reported she was sexually assaulted
at 1:40 a.m. Friday behind a dumpster on the 400 block of East
Calder Way, State College police said. The suspect is described
as a white, non-Hispanic man, with short, brown hair, between
the ages of 20 and 30 and between 180 and 200 pounds, State College
police said.
- Simple Assault: A University student reported Thursday that
his roommate assaulted him, University police said. The individual
received injuries as a result of the fight and was transported
to the hospital via University ambulance, University police said.
- Theft: A 1995 green Ford Explorer was stolen from 100 Meadow
Lane between Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning, State
College police said. The car contained a vacuum cleaner and air
cleaner with an estimated value of $2,500, State College police
said.
The vehicle has a Pennsylvania license plate number of BGZ7053,
State College police said.
The value of the car exceeds $25,000.
- Theft: Kristen Kohler reported the theft of her wallet and black
jacket from 424 E. Fairmount Ave. Friday night, State College
police said. The estimated value of the items is $250.
- Theft: A University employee reported Thursday the theft of
a carpet runner from the west entrance of Hammond Building, University
police said.
The estimated loss is $200.
