Increased police presence responds to 30 incidents
The State College Police Department responded to 30 incidents
between 5 p.m. Tuesday evening and 5 a.m. yesterday morning, according
to a news release from the department.
State College police, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State
Police and agents from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board,
provided extra officers on patrol in anticipation of St. Patrick's
Day, according to the release.
Two driving under the influence offenses, five citations for disorderly
conduct, one citation for public drunkenness, one citation for
an open container violation and 14 traffic citations as well as
four traffic warnings were issued in addition to the service calls,
according to the news release.
