Council honors IFC's achievements
The University's Interfraternity Council received three awards
at the Northeast Interfraternity Council conference March 8 in
Cherry Hill, N.J.
Two of the awards recognized IFC for its academic achievement
and for its education and leadership programs. IFC also received
the Lunsford Award for Excellence, which recognizes IFC as an
outstanding fraternity council in the northeastern region of the
country.

Andrea Gaspardino, director of Greek and Community Life, said
IFC has won the Lunsford Award for the past 11 years.
"I think it reflects positively on them," Gaspardino
said. "They're doing some outstanding things."
IFC President Brad Nestico said the credit for the awards goes
to the outgoing council.
"It inspires me to work diligently to uphold the standards
the council has developed through the years," Nestico said.
