- Criminal Mischief/Theft: A University student reported Monday
the theft of a stereo system, several stereo system components
and compact discs from his secured vehicle while it was parked
in Lot 44 between 1 and 11:30 p.m. Monday, University police said.
The value is estimated at $3,700.
- Driving Under the Influence: University student Matthew Robert
Krell was arrested for DUI Monday after he was found in a stream
by police after he left the scene of an accident, State College
police said.
Krell, 21, had lost control of his car and hit a stone house at
the 1900 block of Branch Road, State College police said. He was
taken to Centre Community Hospital, treated and release, a hospital
representative said.

State College police are located at 118 S. Fraser St. in the Municipal
Building.
University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage
